10h00 : Royal day in Chambord. Equestrian show. Ride in the park in a period carriage. Horse shoeing demonstration.
12h30 : countryside lunch (under a tent cover and heated if necessary)
14h30 : unaccompanied visit of Chambord castle, palace representative of the first French Renaissance and of François the 1st.
18h00 : Dinner and night in a 2** hotel on the outskirts of Tours.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
10h30 :Guided visit of Langeais castle and tasting of Bourgueil wine. It is here that the marriage between Charles VIII et d’Anne de Bretagne, was celebrated in 1491, putting an end to the troubles between France and Bretagne , and setting up the beginning of the incorporation of the province to the French monarchy.
12h45 : lunch in a Langeais restaurant (1/4 of wine and coffee).
15h30 : Guided visit of Azay le Rideau castle. During the Middle Ages the nobles of Tours built a castle on an island in the middle of the Indre river to protect the road which was passing by going from Tours to Chinon. The Azay le Rideau castle was born…
18h00 : return to the hotel, dinner (1/4 of wine and coffee included) at the hotel .

10h00 : unaccompanied visit of the Villandry castle and gardens. The castle, completed towards 1536, is one of the last Loire castles of the Renaissance period In 1906 it was bought by Joachim Carvallo who thus saved it from demolition and created the present gardens in complete harmony with its Renaissance architecture.
12h30 : lunch in a country inn (1/4 of wine coffee).
15h30 : guided visit of the Royal castle of Amboise. Built during the 15th and 16th centuries, this truly royal castle has brought the Italian taste to the Loire valley. The presence of an exceptional collection of Gothic furniture brings to life this place full of history.
